Legendary Tale of 4 Thieves Oil

In the year 1413 the Plague was sweeping through Europe. Four thieves were captured and charged for stealing from the sick and dying. The judge offered to spare the men from the punishment of death by fire if they shared their secret of how they avoided the plague.
The thieves said they were oil & spice merchants who lost their trade with the closure of the seaports. Knowing the healing properties of certain oils and plants, the men blended a secret formula when applied allowed them to rob the dead without catching the disease.
This secret formula, known as 4 Thieves oil, has been passed down for centuries to become a classic staple recipe among herbalists and wellness enthusiasts.
